David Duke had recently acknowledged that the graphic in Trump&#39;s tweet was the Star of David.&nbsp;DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz issued the following statement:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Donald Trump&rsquo;s defense of a tweet that originated on a white supremacist blog is only the latest indication that the divisive nature of his campaign is no accident. Whether it was&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.politifact.com\/truth-o-meter\/statements\/2016\/mar\/02\/donald-trump\/trumps-absurd-claim-he-knows-nothing-about-former-\/\">failing&nbsp;to disavow David Duke<\/a>,&nbsp;dismissing concerns of Jewish reporters who have been&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jta.org\/2016\/05\/05\/news-opinion\/politics\/trump-no-message-for-followers-who-flooded-reporter-with-anti-semitic-abuse\">harassed<\/a>&nbsp;by&nbsp;his&nbsp;supporters, or&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2016-election\/donald-trump-s-star-david-tweet-about-hillary-clinton-posted-n603161\">tweeting&nbsp;out coded anti-Semitic appeals<\/a>, Donald Trump is disqualifying himself from serving as President of the United States. Language and discriminatory tactics that pit Americans against one another have no place in any campaign, and are unconscionable from someone asking the American people to elect them to the presidency.
