Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cI think Obamacare has been a disaster.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy supports cruel abortion bans and said he is open to being convinced of the constitutionality of a national abortion ban. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Examiner<\/a>: \u201cEntrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy came out in favor of an abortion ban \u2018around six weeks\u2019 of gestation at the state level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a> on whether he\u2019s \u201cof the same position\u201d as Ron DeSantis with Florida\u2019s six-week ban: \u201cI think that\u2019s a reasonable bill for him to have signed, absolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NBC News<\/a> on Iowa\u2019s six-week abortion ban: \u201cRamaswamy, who went to the Capitol building to support the session, faced hecklers during an interview. \u2018I think it\u2019s an historic occasion,\u2019 Ramaswamy said, adding that it was \u2018a celebration of the pro-life position that I share.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cI remain open minded to any constitutional scholar convincing me of the legal basis for the federal government, which I believe has no authority to codify Roe v. Wade<\/em> into law, to codify a federal abortion ban into law either. I remain open minded.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daily Signal<\/a>: \u201cThe Daily Signal has learned that the presidential candidate is reportedly discussing with scholars whether federal protections for the unborn would be constitutional. \u2018He is open to the constitutional argument for a federal abortion ban,\u2019 campaign manager Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Signal on Thursday. Last week, Ramaswamy discussed abortion on the \u2018All-In Podcast\u2019 where he said that he believed Roe v. Wade to be unconstitutional and described himself as \u2018personally pro-life.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy is deeply unserious and in over his head on every foreign policy issue \u2014 he has called repeatedly to reduce or end aid to Israel and used antisemitic tropes to downplay the October 7 attack on our ally. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hill<\/a>: \u201c[Ramaswamy] has said that he would negotiate an Abraham Accords 2.0 that he contended would incorporate Israel into the rest of the Middle East such that it wouldn\u2019t be necessary to continue providing aid to the country after 2028.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mediaite<\/a>: \u201cGOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy used an anti-Semitic trope to explain the Republican Party\u2019s concern for Israel in the wake of a terrorist attack by Hamas that left hundreds dead and saw others kidnapped and raped over the weekend. During an interview with Tucker Carlson on Tuesday, Ramaswamy lamented that his competition for the nomination were \u2018ignoring the interests of the U.S. right here at home\u2019 as well as other conflicts around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mediaite<\/a>: \u201cHis explanation for what he implied was a \u2018shameful\u2019 and disproportionate focus on the rape, kidnapping, and murder of Jew for the crime of being Jews was \u2018that there are, frankly, financial and corrupting influences that lead them exactly to speak the way they do.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018That\u2019s just the hard truth,\u2019 added Ramaswamy who said that the reaction to the death and destruction in Israel reflected a \u2018selective moral outrage.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy continues to suggest he\u2019d let China attack Taiwan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cOur interests include Taiwan until we have achieved semiconductor independence. \u2026 after the end of my first term, we will be in a position to say our commitments will be different. Xi Jinping will not go for Taiwan until the end of my first term.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Examiner<\/a>: \u201cVivek Ramaswamy cuts off interview after floating plan to let China attack Taiwan after 2028\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dispatch<\/a>: \u201c\u2018I know this is a little uncouth to say,\u2019 Ramaswamy says. \u2018Once we have truly achieved semiconductor independence, I think the calculus changes.\u2019 Does that mean the U.S. would no longer care either way whether China took over Taiwan by military force? \u2018We care a lot less, yeah; we care a lot less. What I\u2019m willing to do in that scenario is very different.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cMy message to China is clear. Do not mess with Taiwan before 2028. And before 2028, our commitments are strong. After 2028, we have semiconductor independence. We have very different commitments, lower commitments, significantly lower commitments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy is advocating for rewarding Putin for his unjust war and promised to end America\u2019s support of Ukraine \u2014 posing a threat to our allies and democracy itself. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cWhat I think we need to do is end the Ukraine war on peaceful terms that, yes, do make some major concessions to Russia, including freezing those current lines of control in a Korean-war style armistice agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBS News<\/a>: \u201c2024 hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy would end U.S. military support for Ukraine\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wins the presidency, he says he would end U.S. support for Ukraine and instead broker a peace settlement between Russia and Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd as part of the settlement, he said he would suspend U.S. military assistance to Ukraine, prevent Kyiv from joining NATO and lift Western sanctions against the Kremlin. He would also withdraw all troops from Ukraine and close all bases in Eastern Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During last week\u2019s Republican debate, Ramaswamy turned to bizarre conspiracy theories and even suggested that the January 6 insurrection was an \u201cinside job.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanity Fair<\/a>: \u201cRamaswamy, frantically clinging to his undeserved relevance, went into all-out crank mode\u2014confidently theorizing that the January 6 attack was an \u2018inside job,\u2019 that climate change is a \u2018hoax,\u2019 and that the \u2018Great Replacement\u2019 theory is not some racist paranoia, but a \u2018basic statement of the Democratic Party platform.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRamaswamy attempted to use conspiracy theories on Wednesday night as a defibrillator to resuscitate his presidential bid\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u201cThe bombastic businessman-turned-politician entered the fourth debate on Wednesday night a diminished figure, seen as a gadfly by those on stage, a worrying joke to many top Republican operatives, and someone whose poll numbers have done nothing but sink since that first debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFaced with this unenviable position of his own making, Ramaswamy turned to one of his reliable sources of Republican support, the world of right-wing conspiracy theories, using his platform to sound more like someone posting on right-wing message boards than a candidate for president.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy has repeatedly ramped up his climate denialism in an effort to out-MAGA his GOP opponents who have refused to face the reality of climate change.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cWell, I think that with due respect, I’ve talked about this in other forums, \u2018Do you believe in climate change?\u2019 is not really a meaningful question, because climate change has existed as long as the Earth has existed. Do I believe it is a fact that global surface temperatures are rising over the course of the last century and the last half century? Yes, I think that that is an established trend\u2013\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cNo is the answer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cThe climate change agenda is a hoax \u2026 The reality is more people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Post Fact Checker<\/a>: \u201cNo matter how you slice it, credible research has concluded that thousands of people a year die because of the effects of climate change. We can\u2019t find data that suggests green energy policies actually kill even more people \u2014 and Ramaswamy\u2019s campaign did not provide any source for his claim. He earns Four Pinocchios.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York Times<\/a>: \u201c[Ramaswamy] similarly described \u2018climatism\u2019 as \u2018prioritizing the goal of containing climate change at all costs,\u2019 and suggested that fossil fuel and nuclear-powered advances could be used to adapt to and overcome climate change. (Climate scientists are clear that avoiding the worst effects of climate change requires moving away from fossil fuels.)\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy is openly running to take Donald Trump\u2019s extreme MAGA agenda even further.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NBC News<\/a>: \u201cBiotech entrepreneur and conservative commentator Vivek Ramaswamy is vowing to take Donald Trump\u2019s agenda \u2018even further\u2019 as he takes on the former president for the 2024 GOP nomination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Axios<\/a>: \u201cVivek Ramaswamy \u2014 the little-known biotech multimillionaire who jumped into the \u201924 GOP presidential race \u2014 is auditioning to be the party\u2019s next Donald Trump, with hyper-Trumpian positions on the border, voting, culture wars and more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramaswamy\u2019s extreme MAGA agenda includes defunding federal law enforcement and shutting down the Department of Education.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
