Wade<\/em> into law, to codify a federal abortion ban into law either. I remain open minded.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/07\/27\/vivek-ramaswamy-unapologetically-pro-life-but-likely-wont-sign-a-federal-abortion-ban\/\">Daily Signal<\/a>: \u201cThe Daily Signal has learned that the presidential candidate is reportedly discussing with scholars whether federal protections for the unborn would be constitutional. \u2018He is open to the constitutional argument for a federal abortion ban,\u2019 campaign manager Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Signal on Thursday. Last week, Ramaswamy discussed abortion on the \u2018All-In Podcast\u2019 where he said that he believed Roe v. During an interview with Tucker Carlson on Tuesday, Ramaswamy lamented that his competition for the nomination were \u2018ignoring the interests of the U.S. right here at home\u2019 as well as other conflicts around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/vivek-ramaswamy-says-gop-concern-for-israel-driven-by-financial-and-corrupting-influence-accuses-nikki-haley-of-seeking-to-get-wealthy-off-war\/\">Mediaite<\/a>: \u201cHis explanation for what he implied was a \u2018shameful\u2019 and disproportionate focus on the rape, kidnapping, and murder of Jew for the crime of being Jews was \u2018that there are, frankly, financial and corrupting influences that lead them exactly to speak the way they do.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2018That\u2019s just the hard truth,\u2019 added Ramaswamy who said that the reaction to the death and destruction in Israel reflected a \u2018selective moral outrage.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ramaswamy continues to suggest he\u2019d let China attack Taiwan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DNCWarRoom\/status\/1691467831873826816?s=20'\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cOur interests include Taiwan until we have achieved semiconductor independence. \u2026 after the end of my first term, we will be in a position to say our commitments will be different. What I\u2019m willing to do in that scenario is very different.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hughhewitt.com\/vivek-ramaswamy-on-all-things-national-security\/\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cMy message to China is clear. Do not mess with Taiwan before 2028. And before 2028, our commitments are strong. After 2028, we have semiconductor independence. We have very different commitments, lower commitments, significantly lower commitments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ramaswamy is advocating for rewarding Putin for his unjust war and promised to end America\u2019s support of Ukraine \u2014 posing a threat to our allies and democracy itself.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/vivek-ramaswamy-bring-back-trumps-trans-military-ban\/story?id=99813290\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cWhat I think we need to do is end the Ukraine war on peaceful terms that, yes, do make some major concessions to Russia, including freezing those current lines of control in a Korean-war style armistice agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/vivek-ramaswamy-would-end-support-ukraine-negotiate-peace-settlement\/#:~:text=Politics-,2024%20hopeful%20Vivek%20Ramaswamy%20would%20end%20U.S.%20military,Ukraine%20and%20%22push%20peace%20treaty%22&amp;text=If%20Republican%20presidential%20candidate%20Vivek,settlement%20between%20Russia%20and%20Ukraine.\">CBS News<\/a>: \u201c2024 hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy would end U.S. military support for Ukraine\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wins the presidency, he says he would end U.S. support for Ukraine and instead broker a peace settlement between Russia and Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd as part of the settlement, he said he would suspend U.S. military assistance to Ukraine, prevent Kyiv from joining NATO and lift Western sanctions against the Kremlin. He would also withdraw all troops from Ukraine and close all bases in Eastern Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/video\/2023\/05\/15\/vivek_ramaswamy_i_would_not_send_another_dollar_of_us_resources_to_ukraine.html\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cI would not send another dollar of U.S. resources to Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During last week\u2019s Republican debate, Ramaswamy turned to bizarre conspiracy theories and even suggested that the January 6 insurrection was an \u201cinside job.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/who-are-these-gop-debates-actually-for\">Vanity Fair<\/a>: \u201cRamaswamy, frantically clinging to his undeserved relevance, went into all-out crank mode\u2014confidently theorizing that the January 6 attack was an \u2018inside job,\u2019 that climate change is a \u2018hoax,\u2019 and that the \u2018Great Replacement\u2019 theory is not some racist paranoia, but a \u2018basic statement of the Democratic Party platform.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/themessenger.com\/politics\/sinking-in-polls-ramaswamy-turns-to-right-wing-conspiracy-theories\">The Messenger<\/a>: \u201cSinking In Polls, Vivek Ramaswamy Turns To Right Wing Conspiracy Theories\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRamaswamy attempted to use conspiracy theories on Wednesday night as a defibrillator to resuscitate his presidential bid\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cThe bombastic businessman-turned-politician entered the fourth debate on Wednesday night a diminished figure, seen as a gadfly by those on stage, a worrying joke to many top Republican operatives, and someone whose poll numbers have done nothing but sink since that first debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFaced with this unenviable position of his own making, Ramaswamy turned to one of his reliable sources of Republican support, the world of right-wing conspiracy theories, using his platform to sound more like someone posting on right-wing message boards than a candidate for president.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ramaswamy has repeatedly ramped up his climate denialism in an effort to out-MAGA his GOP opponents who have refused to face the reality of climate change.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/climate-change-white-supremacy-problems-us-ramaswamy-argues\/story?id=103307611\">Linsey Davis<\/a>: \u201cDo you believe in climate change?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/climate-change-white-supremacy-problems-us-ramaswamy-argues\/story?id=103307611\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cWell, I think that with due respect, I&#8217;ve talked about this in other forums, \u2018Do you believe in climate change?\u2019 is not really a meaningful question, because climate change has existed as long as the Earth has existed. Do I believe it is a fact that global surface temperatures are rising over the course of the last century and the last half century? Yes, I think that that is an established trend\u2013\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/climate-change-white-supremacy-problems-us-ramaswamy-argues\/story?id=103307611\">Davis<\/a>: \u201cAs president, would you do anything to try to buck that trend?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/climate-change-white-supremacy-problems-us-ramaswamy-argues\/story?id=103307611\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cNo is the answer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/video\/2023\/08\/23\/vivek-ramaswamy-calls-climate-change-a-hoax-1035291\">Politico<\/a>: \u201cVivek Ramaswamy calls climate change agenda a &#8216;hoax&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6335464873112\">Ramaswamy<\/a>: \u201cThe climate change agenda is a hoax \u2026 The reality is more people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/08\/25\/vivek-ramaswamy-says-hoax-agenda-kills-more-people-than-climate-change\/\">Washington Post Fact Checker<\/a>: \u201cNo matter how you slice it, credible research has concluded that thousands of people a year die because of the effects of climate change. We can\u2019t find data that suggests green energy policies actually kill even more people \u2014 and Ramaswamy\u2019s campaign did not provide any source for his claim. He earns Four Pinocchios.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/02\/21\/us\/politics\/vivek-ramaswamy-presidential-candidate-2024.html\">New York Times<\/a>: \u201c[Ramaswamy] similarly described \u2018climatism\u2019 as \u2018prioritizing the goal of containing climate change at all costs,\u2019 and suggested that fossil fuel and nuclear-powered advances could be used to adapt to and overcome climate change.
