As MAGA Republicans in New Hampshire hold a hearing on their proposed extreme abortion ban, <\/em>DNC National Press Secretary Sarafina Chitika released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDonald Trump and MAGA extremists have waged an all-out war against women\u2019s reproductive freedom, opening the floodgates to increasingly extreme abortion bans, including one proposed by New Hampshire Republicans that bans abortion after 15 days, makes no exception for rape and incest, and threatens health care providers who perform abortions with felony charges. Let\u2019s be clear: New Hampshire Republicans are only able to push forward with one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country because of Donald Trump. After spending every waking moment trying to cozy up to the MAGA base, 2024 GOP candidates now owe voters a clear answer on how far they\u2019re willing to go to win the votes of extremists.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAGA Republicans in New Hampshire are holding a hearing on their proposed extreme abortion ban which includes  no exceptions for rape or incest and threatens health care providers with felony charges.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Hampshire House Bill 1248<\/a>: \u201cThis bill prohibits abortion, other than for a medical emergency, if the gestational <\/p>\n\n\n\n

age of the fetus is more than 15 days. […] Any health care provider who knowingly performs or induces an abortion in violation of this subdivision […] shall be guilty of a class B felony.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donald Trump supports a national abortion ban and has repeatedly bragged about his role in overturning <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, which paved the way for MAGA Republicans to pass extreme abortion bans across the country. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cThere of course remains a vital role for the federal government in protecting unborn life. And it\u2019s very important.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cAfter 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, much to the \u2018shock\u2019 of everyone \u2026 Without me there would be no 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or whatever is finally agreed to.<\/strong> Without me the pro Life movement would have just kept losing. Thank you President TRUMP!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cI’m the one that got rid of <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, and everybody said that was an impossible thing to do. I put on three Supreme Court justices. Very few people have had that privilege or honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump on if he would sign a six-week national abortion ban<\/a>: \u201cI’m looking at all [options].\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cGetting rid of <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong> was an incredible thing<\/strong> for pro-life because it gave pro-life something to negotiate with. Pro-life had absolutely nothing, being stuck in Roe v. Wade<\/em>, to negotiate with. \u2026 And look, everybody that was president wanted to get rid and tried to get rid of Roe v. Wade<\/em> … For fifty years, this has been going on. I was able to do it, and I was very honored to do it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cWe’ll pick something that’s going to be very, very good for pro-life \u2026 I\u2019m going to be in there pushing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haley has promised to sign any national abortion ban that lands on her desk and has repeatedly supported  extreme abortion bans before many women know they\u2019re pregnant. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
