On the third anniversary of President Biden and Vice President Harris\u2019s inauguration, <\/em>DNC National Press Secretary Sarafina Chitika released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the three years since President Biden and Vice President Harris were sworn into office, they have delivered historic progress for the American people \u2014 they\u2019re working to lower costs for hardworking families, a record number of jobs are putting Americans back to work, and we\u2019re seeing a manufacturing boom while our roads and bridges are being repaired across the country. The Biden-Harris administration continues to deliver where Donald Trump failed \u2014 and as they campaign for four more years to finish the job, Trump is campaigning to take America backward. President Biden is running on an agenda to improve the lives of the American people, grow the economy from the bottom up and the middle out, strengthen democracy, and restore and expand our freedoms, while Trump is running on an agenda to benefit one person: himself. As President Biden and Vice President Harris round out their first term, voters will vote to build on their historic progress this November \u2014 not take us back.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under President Biden\u2019s leadership, more jobs were created in 2023 than any year under Trump. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The economy created 2.7 million new jobs in 2023\u2014a year when the unemployment rate was consistently below 4 percent\u2014more jobs than during any year of the prior Administration.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
