Following <\/em>reporting<\/em><\/a> from Kristi Noem\u2019s new book about her brutal killing of a dog (among other animals), <\/em>the dogs of the DNC, aka the Dogmocratic Party, released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs DNC\u2019s canine companions, we\u2019ve heard a lot from our owners about just how extreme and dangerous Donald Trump and his far-right MAGA allies are \u2013 but nothing could prepare us for the truly disturbing and horrifying passages Kristi Noem willingly chose to put in her new book. Our message is plain and simple: If you want elected officials who don\u2019t<\/em> brag about brutally killing their pets as part of their self-promotional book tour, then listen to our owners \u2013 and vote Democrat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristi Noem\u2019s extreme record goes beyond bizarre rants about killing her pets \u2013 she also previously said a 10-year-old rape victim should be forced to carry out her pregnancy, does not support exceptions for rape or incest, and has threatened to throw pharmacists in jail for providing medication abortions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNN<\/a>: \u201cSouth Dakota governor defends state\u2019s abortion \u2018trigger\u2019 ban when asked if 10-year-old should be forced to give birth\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Argus Leader<\/a>: \u201cPro-life advocates and Gov. Kristi Noem are lauding the South Dakota Legislature for further bolstering the state\u2019s already strict anti-abortion laws this legislative session, steps necessary for states to take if abortion will ever be completely illegal in the United States, they say. \u2026 Noem told the Argus Leader this week that she is an absolutist on the topic, not even compromising in the event of rape or incest.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associated Press<\/a>: \u201cThe Republican governor and South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley released a letter to South Dakota pharmacists saying they are \u2018subject to felony prosecution\u2019 if they procure or dispense abortion-inducing drugs.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noem is in lockstep with Donald Trump\u2019s MAGA agenda…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noem<\/a>: \u201cI love that man because he did everything he said he was going to do.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hill<\/a>: \u201cNoem says she would be Trump\u2019s running mate \u2018in a heartbeat\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNN<\/a>: \u201c\u2018Of course, I would consider it,\u2019 Noem told Fox News host Sean Hannity recently when asked if she would be Trump\u2019s vice president.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cI was proudly the person responsible for the ending of \u2026 <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cWe broke <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong> and we did something that nobody thought was possible. We gave it back to the states, and the states are working very brilliantly \u2026 But they\u2019re working, and it\u2019s working the way it\u2019s supposed to.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cFor 54 years they were trying to get <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong><\/a> terminated, and I did it, and I\u2019m proud to have done it. \u2026 Nobody else was going to get that done but me<\/strong>, and we did it, and we did something that was a miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FWIW<\/a>: \u201cThis week, we found more evidence that the Trump campaign has no interest in \u2018moderating\u2019 on the issue of abortion. On Monday, his team began running new Facebook video ads targeting voters in Iowa, referring to Trump as \u2018THE MOST Pro-Life President in history.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cI’m the one that got rid of Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, and everybody said that was an impossible thing to do. I put on three Supreme Court justices. Very few people have had that privilege or honor.\u201d
