While Donald Trump <\/em>refuses<\/em><\/a> to say how he\u2019ll vote on an amendment to protect abortion access in Florida after he ended Roe v. Wade, his MAGA veepstakes contender Marco Rubio has already said he\u2019ll vote no. In response, <\/em>DNC Spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFirst, Donald Trump\u2019s handpicked Supreme Court justices ended Roe v. Wade<\/em>; now, he\u2019s trying to hide his extreme Project 2025 agenda to outlaw abortion nationwide. Rubio isn\u2019t just voting to keep Florida\u2019s draconian abortion ban that bans abortion before many women even know they\u2019re pregnant \u2013 he\u2019s already spent years supporting a nationwide ban, including with no rape or incest exceptions. If given the chance, Rubio will gladly help make Trump\u2019s national abortion ban a reality for all Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marco Rubio said he will vote against protecting abortion access in Florida this November, keeping MAGA Republicans\u2019 extreme ban on abortion before many women even know they\u2019re pregnant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
