As Donald Trump rallies in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, <\/em>DNC Spokesperson Addy Toevs released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday, Trump is promoting his scam agenda to Pennsylvania voters, trying to con his way into the White House once more with a plan that would threaten a woman\u2019s right to access reproductive care \u2013 including IVF \u2013 in the state and cost Pennsylvania families thousands of dollars a year while giving millions in tax breaks to his wealthy friends. Pennsylvania voters know that a second Trump presidency would be a disaster; fundamental freedoms including the ability to build a family when and how they want would be in peril and they would be left footing the bill for Trump\u2019s disastrous economic plans that will harm families across the state. That\u2019s why they\u2019ll show up this November to reject Trump\u2019s Project 2025 agenda and elect Vice President Harris and Governor Walz, the only candidates in this race fighting to protect fundamental freedoms for all and lower costs.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IVF access is at risk in Pennsylvania and across the country because of Donald Trump. Trump and his VP pick, JD Vance, would threaten it further.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WESA<\/a>: \u201cThe implications of Alabama\u2019s IVF high-court ruling for Pennsylvania families and politicians\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPennsylvania\u2019s congressional delegation, in fact, already includes cosponsors of the Life at Conception Act, which doesn\u2019t explicitly limit IVF but contains the same premise as Alabama\u2019s court ruling<\/a> \u2014 that the definition of a human being includes \u2018all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization.\u2019 Backers include Western Pennsylvania\u2019s Guy Reschenthaler.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York Times<\/a>: \u201c[The Alabama Supreme Court ruling on IVF was] made possible by the Supreme Court\u2019s overturning of Roe v. Wade in its 2022 Dobbs decision, which was a result of Mr. Trump\u2019s appointment of three justices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump is \u201cproud\u201d of ending <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, paving the way for threats to IVF access. Vance is on board too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hill<\/a>: \u201cSenate Republicans block legislation to codify IVF access\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Republicans who voted against include: JD Vance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanity Fair<\/a>: \u201cOn Wednesday, Senate Republicans are expected to object to Tammy Duckworth\u2019s Right to Build Families Act, because, surprise: They don\u2019t actually care about families and aren\u2019t \u2018pro-life.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018It\u2019s idiotic for us to take the bait,\u2019<\/strong> Senator JD Vance told Politico, as though the measure were some kind of political trap. (He also noted that he had not actually read the bill yet.)\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vance<\/a>: \u201cI think that what I really think on \u2013 so first of all, the <\/strong>Dobbs<\/em><\/strong> decision, everybody knows, overruled <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 I think that was the right decision.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump has vowed to double down on his <\/strong>extreme tax scam<\/strong><\/a>, extending and even expanding his disastrous policies, which would give handouts to the wealthiest .01 percent of Americans and big corporations while leaving working Pennsylvania families behind. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
