In response to JD Vance <\/em>praising<\/em><\/a> Marjorie Taylor Greene \u2014 a notorious election denier and conspiracy theorist \u2014 as a \u201cgreat friend\u201d in Georgia today, <\/em>DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJD Vance took time in Georgia today to shout out his \u2018great friend\u2019 right after she finished spreading fresh conspiracy theories about how \u2018they\u2019 can control the weather while Georgia is still recovering from Hurricane Helene. Let\u2019s be clear: Marjorie Taylor Greene is a wildly out-of-touch conspiracy theorist and election-denying extremist who is as toxic to voters as the Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda itself \u2014 and that\u2019s just another reason why we\u2019re sure that Vance will have plenty more free time to spend with his \u2018great friend\u2019 after this November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Vance took time in Georgia today to shout out Marjorie Taylor Greene \u2014 a notorious extremist, election denier, and unhinged conspiracy theorist.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Vance<\/a>: \u201cWe have got another great, strong, woman leader in Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene \u2014 I know we\u2019re in her district, where\u2019s Marjorie? Please say hello. Now you may not know this, but one of the very first endorsements, and frankly the first really important endorsement, that I got when I was running in the Republican Senate primary in Ohio a few years ago was from Marjorie Taylor Greene, so she\u2019s been a great friend of mine. She\u2019s a loyal person, and you guys have a hell of a Congresswoman here in Marjorie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene is a MAGA extremist who has constantly spread conspiracy theories, denied the results of the 2020 election, and downplayed January 6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsweek<\/a>: \u201cRepublican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has shared a video to Twitter that argues that the 2020 presidential election was stolen through a combination of the COVID-19 pandemic and voter fraud.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGreene, who was recently appointed to serve on the powerful House of Representatives\u2019 Oversight Committee, shared the video entitled \u2018How to steal an election\u2019 on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn just over a minute, a narrator alleges a vast conspiracy to steal the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump involving the media, \u2018Big Tech,\u2019 the Democratic Party and others, with a particular focus on President Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HuffPost<\/a>: \u201cControversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is still convinced the 2020 presidential election was rigged but admits she has no evidence of election fraud.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGreene admitted she had no proof during an interview Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida, but is sticking with her conviction that the presidential vote was rigged, even though she apparently doesn\u2019t dispute the 2020 election results that made her a congresswoman:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene, an anti-abortion extremist, has attacked those who support abortion ban exceptions \u2014 including a rape survivor \u2014 and wants to ban abortion nationwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanity Fair<\/a>: \u201cGreene has previously said the overturning of Roe v. Wade was a \u2018blessing\u2019 and a \u2018miracle,\u2019 and called another Republican lawmaker and rape survivor \u2018trash\u2019 for supporting rape exceptions. She\u2019s also told women that if they don\u2019t want to get pregnant they should \u2018make better choices\u2019 and \u2018choose to not have sex.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene has made mind-boggling, false claims about the September 11, 2001 attacks on our country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daily Beast<\/a>: \u201cMarjorie Taylor Greene, the Trump-backed candidate <\/strong>who won a Republican primary runoff this week and will very likely win the general race in her deep-red district, said in 2018 video unearthed by Media Matters: \u2018We had witnessed 9\/11, the terrorist attack in New York and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania and the so-called plane that crashed into the Pentagon. It\u2019s odd there\u2019s never any evidence shown for a plane in the Pentagon. <\/strong>But anyways, I won\u2019t\u2014I\u2019m not going to dive into the 9\/11 conspiracy. But 9\/11 had happened. Our country was very much into a war.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s right about one thing: Greene previously vented about her fellow House Republicans and said that Republican voters are \u201csick and tired of Republicans because they never do anything\u201d and \u201csay all this garbage.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
