Wade<\/em><\/strong><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1777313236288712970\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cI was proudly the person responsible for the ending of \u2026 <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong><strong>.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1778897934844559451\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cWe broke <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong><strong> and we did something that nobody thought was possible. We gave it back to the states, and the states are working very brilliantly \u2026 But they\u2019re working, and it\u2019s working the way it\u2019s supposed to.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1745277154236260693\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cFor 54 years they were trying to get <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong><strong> terminated, and I did it, and I\u2019m proud to have done it. \u2026 Nobody else was going to get that done but me<\/strong>, and we did it, and we did something that was a miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/110384051064378318\">Trump<\/a>: \u201cAfter 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, <strong>I was able to kill <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, much to the \u2018shock\u2019 of everyone \u2026 <strong>Without me there would be no 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or whatever is finally agreed to.<\/strong> Without me the pro Life movement would have just kept losing. Thank you President TRUMP!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/newsmax-tv\/abortion-unborn-roe-v-wade\/2023\/05\/16\/id\/1120077\/\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cI\u2019m the one that got rid of <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, and everybody said that was an impossible thing to do. I put on three Supreme Court justices. Very few people have had that privilege or honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DNCWarRoom\/status\/1656474276063592448?s=20\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cGetting rid of <\/strong><strong><em>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong><strong> was an incredible thing<\/strong> for pro-life because it gave pro-life something to negotiate with. Pro-life had absolutely nothing, being stuck in <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, to negotiate with. \u2026 And look, everybody that was president wanted to get rid and tried to get rid of <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> &#8230; For fifty years, this has been going on. <strong>I was able to do it, and I was very honored to do it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2024\/us\/abortion-laws-roe-v-wade.html\">New York Times<\/a>: <strong>21 states across the country currently have abortion bans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump is dismissing reproductive freedom issues as \u201clargely quelled\u201d as women die \u201cpreventable\u201d deaths under the abortion bans he made possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ry1IjOft95c\">Donald Trump<\/a>: \u201cI think that\u2013 and just getting back to your original thought on the abortion [&#8230;] It&#8217;s back with the states, and it&#8217;s a vote of the people, and that&#8217;s where everybody wanted it to be. <strong>And I think that issue is largely quelled because of that.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/georgia-abortion-ban-amber-thurman-death?utm_campaign=propublica-sprout&amp;utm_content=1726570808&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\">ProPublica<\/a>: <strong>\u201cAbortion Bans Have Delayed Emergency Medical Care. In Georgia, Experts Say This Mother\u2019s Death Was Preventable.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut ProPublica obtained reports that confirm that at least two women have already died after they couldn\u2019t access legal abortions and timely medical care in their state\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThurman\u2019s case marks the first time an abortion-related death, officially deemed \u2018preventable,\u2019 is coming to public light. ProPublica will share the story of the second in the coming days\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cBut since abortion was banned or restricted in 22 states over the past two years, women in serious danger have been turned away from emergency rooms and told that they needed to be in more peril before doctors could help. <\/strong>Some have been forced to continue high-risk pregnancies that threatened their lives. Those whose pregnancies weren\u2019t even viable have been told they could return when they were \u2018crashing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/candi-miller-abortion-ban-death-georgia\">ProPublica<\/a>: \u201c<strong>Afraid to Seek Care Amid Georgia\u2019s Abortion Ban, She Stayed at Home and Died\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/georgiarecorder.com\/2023\/01\/21\/georgias-six-week-ban-not-enough-for-anti-abortion-activists-pressing-for-more-restrictions-at-roes-50th-anniversary\/\">Georgia Recorder<\/a>: <strong>\u201cGeorgia now forbids most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, earlier than many women even think to buy a pregnancy test. <\/strong>When the measure passed in 2019, Georgia Republicans boasted it was the strictest law in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/womens-health\/texas-abortion-ban-deaths-pregnant-women-sb8-analysis-rcna171631\">NBC News<\/a>: <strong>\u201cA dramatic rise in pregnant women dying in Texas after abortion ban\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump, JD Vance, and their Project 2025 allies are pushing a dangerous Project 2025 agenda that would ban abortion nationwide, threaten access to IVF and contraception, and rip away reproductive freedoms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/trump-16-week-national-abortion-ban-1234970119\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a>: <strong>\u201cTrump Wants to Ban Abortion Nationwide: Report\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DNCWarRoom\/status\/1672786470049046528\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cThere of course remains a vital role for the federal government in protecting unborn life. They will make a decision as to how they do it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/2024\/07\/17\/jd-vance-abortion-comstock-vice-presidential-nominee\/\">Washington Post<\/a>:<strong> \u201c<\/strong><strong>Vance urged DOJ to enforce Comstock Act, crack down on abortion pills\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/newrepublic.com\/article\/178848\/ban-abortion-trump-lgbtq-project-2025\">New Republic<\/a>: <strong>\u201cOn January 20, 2025, conservatives plan to resurrect a 150-year-old defunct law to ban abortion across the nation.<\/strong> This is not a secret plan\u2014far from it. It\u2019s part of the 180-Day Playbook produced by Project 2025, detailing priorities for an incoming conservative president on day one.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/04\/01\/anti-abortion-movement-ivf-war-00149766\">Politico<\/a>: <strong>\u201cAnti-abortion advocates worked for five decades to topple Roe v. Wade. They\u2019re now laying the groundwork for a yearslong fight to curb in vitro fertilization.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cSince the Alabama Supreme Court ruled last month that frozen embryos are children, the Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups have been strategizing how to convince not just GOP officials but evangelicals broadly that they should have serious moral concerns about fertility treatments like IVF and that access to them should be curtailed.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PhilipWegmann\/status\/1842715097627500724\">Vance<\/a>: \u201cOn the question of defunding Planned Parenthood [\u2026] our view is we don&#8217;t think that taxpayers should fund late term abortions. That has been a consistent view of the Trump campaign the first time around, it will remain a consistent view.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/static.project2025.org\/2025_MandateForLeadership_FULL.pdf\">Project 2025, page 471<\/a>: <strong>\u201cProhibit Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funds\u2026 Policymakers should end taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediamatters.org\/heritage-foundation\/heritage-foundation-quietly-released-draconian-new-ivf-policy-recommendations\">Media Matters<\/a>: <strong>\u201cThe Heritage Foundation quietly released draconian new IVF policy recommendations for the next GOP president\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cHeritage has been a staunchly anti-IVF voice, supporting Alabama\u2019s controversial Supreme Court ruling that frozen embryos cultivated through IVF treatment have the same rights as living children, and that a person can be held liable for destroying embryos.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/society\/project-2025-trump-hhs\/\">The Nation<\/a>: \u201cProject 2025 Has Bad Medicine for HHS\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd by declaring that life begins at conception, <strong>his manifesto appears to commit HHS to finding ways to outlaw IVF<\/strong>, which relies on generating multiple embryos, most of which are not implanted.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/19thnews.org\/2024\/07\/republican-national-convention-party-platform-fetuses-abortion-ivf\/\">The 19th<\/a>: \u201cRNC approves platform that would give rights to fetuses, endangering abortion, IVF\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFetal personhood is widely seen as being in conflict with in vitro fertilization (IVF), which creates embryos outside of the uterus that are later implanted. Fetal personhood bestows the same rights currently reserved for people to embryos from the moment of fertilization.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reproductivefreedomforall.org\/resources\/gutting-abortion-access-under-project-2025\/\">Reproductive Freedom for All<\/a>: \u201cThe extensive mandate calls to gut reproductive freedom, including effectively banning medication abortion, ending access to emergency abortion care, attacking contraception, deploying fetal personhood, and undermining IVF in federal policy\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cProject 2025 includes personhood language and policies that propagate the belief that life begins at conception\u2014which could have devastating impacts should it be put into law. This so-called \u201cpersonhood\u201d language could ban not only abortion but also some forms of birth control and assisted fertility treatments like IVF.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-features\/maga-plan-attack-birth-control-surveil-women-ban-abortion-pill-1234934807\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a>: \u201cInside the MAGA Plan to Attack Birth Control, Surveil Women and Ban the Abortion Pill\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/HeartlandSignal\/status\/1811494802665394616\">Vance<\/a>: <strong>\u201cI\u2019ve reviewed a lot of [Project 2025]. There are some good ideas in there.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/11\/13\/trump-loyalists-2024-presidential-election\">Axios<\/a>: <strong>\u201c[Project 2025] is undeniably a Trump-driven operation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump and Vance\u2019s extreme anti-choice agenda is overwhelmingly unpopular with voters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2023\/06\/18\/poll-abortion-support-dobbs-overturned-roe-v-wade\/70320647007\/\">USA Today<\/a>: <strong>\u201cAmericans overwhelmingly oppose the next goal of many anti-abortion activists, to enact a federal law banning abortion nationwide. By 80%-14%, those surveyed opposed that idea, including 65% of Republicans and 83% of independents.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/07\/12\/most-americans-support-abortion-poll\">Axios<\/a>: \u201cMost Americans support abortion access one year after Roe v.
