Trump and his shadow President Elon Musk profited from the move, which immediately caused markets to briefly surge before tanking again. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortune<\/a>: \u201cTrump Media and Technology Group<\/strong> [also] \u2026 soared over 20% <\/strong>on the day.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump\u2019s actions are raising major concerns about insider trading and market manipulation to help his ultra-rich allies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., sent a letter <\/strong>to Trump\u2019s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer on Thursday asking for an investigation into potential conflicts of interest over the actions that took place Wednesday.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
