{"id":1055504,"date":"2025-08-07T09:13:01","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T13:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/democrats.org\/?p=1055504"},"modified":"2025-08-07T09:13:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T13:13:01","slug":"dnc-announces-initial-seven-figure-investment-into-nj-coordinated-campaign-to-help-nj-democrats-win-up-and-down-the-ballot-this-november-and-next","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/democrats.org\/news\/dnc-announces-initial-seven-figure-investment-into-nj-coordinated-campaign-to-help-nj-democrats-win-up-and-down-the-ballot-this-november-and-next\/","title":{"rendered":"DNC Announces Initial Seven-Figure Investment Into NJ Coordinated Campaign To Help NJ Democrats Win Up and Down the Ballot This November and Next"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Democrats continue to turbocharge \u2018<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/democrats-organizing-summer-trump-republican-tax-bill-856d15046abb84beaed60a4cacdaba8a\"><em>Organizing Summer<\/em><\/a><em>\u2019 with an initial $1.5 million investment in New Jersey ahead of high-stakes elections this fall<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As New Jersey Democrats like Congresswoman and gubernatorial nominee Mikie Sherrill fight for New Jersey residents ahead of critical November elections, the DNC has their back with a new, seven-figure investment into the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Jersey residents are already feeling the impacts of Donald Trump\u2019s chaotic administration on their health care and their wallets, and New Jersey Democrats\u2019 victory in the upcoming November elections will offer a powerful rebuke of Trump and Republicans\u2019 dangerous policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initial $1.5 million investment into the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign is one of the largest and earliest initial investments the DNC has ever made to the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign in an off-year election cycle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This investment will:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help the New Jersey coordinated campaign to continue to hire regional directors, organizers, and other key staff in order to talk to voters across the state\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fund voter contact efforts in the field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test new tactics and tools to ensure our message is resonating with voters across the state<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expand our reach to key constituencies that we lost ground with in the November 2024 elections \u2014 such as Black, Latino and AANHPI voters who make up a large share of New Jersey\u2019s population<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSix months into his second term, Donald Trump has given New Jersey families higher costs, fewer job opportunities, and has gone after their health care and food assistance \u2014 but this November, we\u2019re going to give Republicans a lesson in consequences. Republicans, like Jack Ciattarelli, are all too happy to betray the families they represent to further the agenda of Trump and his billionaire friends. New Jerseyans deserve Democratic leaders who will fight back against Trump\u2019s chaos and cruelty while delivering better days for their families. Through the tireless work of the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign, we\u2019ll get it done. The DNC is proud to support through this investment Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill and New Jersey Democrats up and down the ballot.
