Additionally, this election marks Democrats second biggest overperformance of the year, a clear sign of momentum heading into the 2026 midterms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In response to Democrats\u2019 victory in Rhode Island\u2019s Senate District 4 race, <\/em><strong><em>DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCoast to coast, from blue to red America, voters are sending a clear message: they want Democrats in charge. While Republicans bow to Trump, selling out their constituents to enrich billionaires as the economy shrivels up, Americans are saying enough is enough. Democrats are fighting every day for working people \u2013 and voters have noticed. In 2025, Democrats are winning and overperforming in elections everywhere because working families are desperate for a party that will move the country forward, fight on their behalf, and actually give a damn about their lives.
