This year alone, Democrats have won or overperformed in 42 out of 43 key elections \u2014 a clear sign that Americans are putting their faith in the party of the working class \u2014 not billionaires and elites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In response to Walkinshaw\u2019s dominant victory, <\/em><strong><em>DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVirginians are seeing Republicans for who they are: self-serving liars who will throw their constituents under the bus to rubber stamp Donald Trump\u2019s disastrous agenda \u2014 and they\u2019re ready for change. Rep-elect Walkinshaw\u2019s victory continues the dominant trend we\u2019re seeing so far this year \u2013 Democrats are massively overperforming in nearly every race.
