New reporting<\/a> reveals that Donald Trump\u2019s inner circle is falling apart under the weight of the Epstein scandal. After months of battling \u201cthe worst managed PR event in history<\/a>,\u201d Trump still can\u2019t get a handle on the fallout of his attempted cover-up operation \u2014 maybe because he and his buddies keep popping up<\/a> in the documents that have come out. Instead of releasing all of the Epstein Files and being transparent with the American people and delivering accountability for Epstein\u2019s victims, Trump\u2019s White House is humiliating itself with infighting, finger-pointing, and dysfunction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, DNC Deputy Rapid Response Director Jaelin O\u2019Halloran released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSAD! Donald Trump can\u2019t even get his loyalists to hold it together on the Epstein scandal without a full-scale meltdown. Instead of being transparent with the American people and seeking justice for Epstein\u2019s victims, Trump and his goons are too busy falling over themselves to try to pull the wool over the public\u2019s eyes. Enough with the chaos and the cover-ups; the American people deserve the truth. There\u2019s one thing they can do to set the record straight: Release the files.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump\u2019s former Labor Secretary, Alexander Acosta, is the latest official to come under fire. Acosta was grilled behind closed doors<\/a> last week by the House Oversight Committee over his sweetheart plea deal with Jeffrey Epstein, which let Epstein escape federal charges despite dozens of credible allegations<\/a> of abuse. Meanwhile, FBI Director Kash Patel, already under scrutiny for mishandling the Epstein saga, tried to shift blame onto Acosta to save himself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
