Trump was in New York…. trying to take advantage of the tragedy to benefit himself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He bragged that his building had become the tallest in Lower Manhattan…<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Washington Post<\/a>: “On 9\/11, Trump noted that he now owned the financial district’s tallest building”<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He collected a recovery grant intended to help small businesses hurt by the attack…<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

New York Daily News<\/a>: “Donald Trump took advantage of program designed to help small businesses after 9\/11”<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He spread a conspiracy theory, saying he saw “thousands” of Muslims celebrating on 9\/11…<\/strong><\/p>\n
