Even conservative pundits aren’t buying the laughable White House spin on Comey’s firing:<\/p>\n

Charles Krauthammer<\/a>: “Do we really believe Donald Trump, after all these months, decided suddenly he had to fire this guy because he damaged Hillary back in July? Another implausible conjecture.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bill Kristol<\/a>: “One can be at once a critic of Comey and alarmed by what Trump has done and how he has done it.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jennifer Rubin<\/a>: “proferring a fake reason to fire JC for pursuing pres is textbook obstruction”<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Who can sincerely believe that President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey for any reason other than to thwart an investigation of serious crimes? Which crimes—and how serious—we can only guess.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
