“Today's jobs report is further proof that if Trump wants to create more jobs for the American people and continue President Obama’s record-setting streak of private sector job growth, he must build on President Obama’s policies to create an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the very top. Unfortunately, yesterday’s passage of Trumpcare shows that President Trump and Republicans have no interest in making our economy stronger. Instead of creating good jobs, Trump wants to take away people’s health care and discriminate against those with pre-existing conditions. Instead of fighting for working families, he would rather give massive tax breaks to his billionaire friends. We've tried this approach before and all it has done is made the wealthiest wealthier.<\/p>\n
