In response to the latest and most craven attempt by Republicans to repeal health care, DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement:<\/em><\/p>\n

“After trying to pass a secret bill in the dead of night, Republicans failed once again to take health care away from millions of Americans. This bill was a moral abomination and its defeat is a victory for every family whose health care was put in jeopardy by Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Republicans in Congress. But our fight is not done yet and we can't let up.<\/p>\n

“Republicans remain committed to an agenda that prioritizes the wealthy over middle class and working families, and it's long past time they listen to the message voters have been sending them: Health care is a right. This bill was wrong. And they should join Democrats in working to improve our health care system for all Americans.”<\/p>\n
