This morning Senator Corker and Trump got into a feud after Corker said he hoped Trump would stay out of the tax debate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CORKER<\/a>: “What I hope is going to happen is the president will leave this effort, if you will, to the tax-writing committees, let them do their work and not begin taking things off the table that ought to be debated in these committees at the proper time.”<\/p>\n

TRUMP<\/a>: “Bob Corker, who helped President O give us the bad Iran Deal & couldn't get elected dog catcher in Tennessee, is now fighting Tax Cuts….”<\/p>\n

Republicans can’t govern and, like everything else they try to do, their tax push is quickly falling into chaos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bloomberg<\/a>: “The White House’s inconsistent tax messages are keeping everyone guessing”<\/p>\n

Washington Post<\/a>: “Trump’s promises narrow options on tax bill”<\/p>\n

New York Times<\/a>: “Cutting taxes is hard. Trump is making it harder.”<\/p>\n

Needless to say, today’s Senate policy lunch should be fun.<\/strong><\/p>\n
