I’m extremely excited by the unprecedented number of women running and winning across the country, and Michigan is no exception. Tonight, voters made clear they want leaders who will fight for the issues that keep them up at night, and they know that Democrats have their back and share their values.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The Republican nominee for governor, Bill Schuette, has been in lock-step with Donald Trump’s agenda to jeopardize people’s access to health care and help the rich and wealthy corporations at the expense of the middle class. Michiganders deserve better leadership in Lansing. And tonight, Democrats nominated candidates across the state who are ready to fight for access to affordable health care and better jobs for working families.
